A humanitarian Foundation, Grigsby Care Foundation, has broken grounds for the construction of a Multi-Purpose youth Center in Tartweh Tumanville, Sinoe County.
Construction works for the more than $27,000 United States dollars project will start Saturday February 27,2021 and is expected to be completed in nine months.
The founder and Executive Director of the Grigsby Care Foundation, Atty. Teklo Maxwell Grigsby. III, who is also the Chairman on the Commission on Small Arms in Liberia said, the project is the first major initiative of his foundation in Sinoe and third of similar project across Liberia.
Atty. Grigsby said, the project if completed will host children playground, recreation center, equip research rooms, conference hall, offices amongst others .
The son of Sinoe county said, it is his own way of given back to this people; as he encouraged other citizens and young people of the county to support development initiatives and leave good legacy which will be remember.
“I am a son of Sinoe, and I think it is prudent enough to bring such initiative to the county. My foundation did similar projects across Liberia, and coming back to my own county, I think it is something I should be proud of.” Grigsby said.
The Chairman of the Small Arms Commission of Liberia also promised his continuous support to his people of Sinoe County aimed at building a vibrant and self-reliance young generation in the county and country at large.
Beaming with smile, the Youth Chairman of the area, Pion Nyanswah, lauded the Grigsby Care Foundation, stating that the project will boost to the community and surroundings.
He disclosed that the young people have been yarning for such opportunity, and seeing it coming to light worth appreciation and promised to save guide the facility.
Nyanswah then called on other well-meaning citizens of Sinoe county to follow similar path of Atty. Grigsby and his charity foundation.
Many locals were also in a joyous mood as they shower praises and appreciating Atty. Maxwell Grigsby for taking such initiative in their county.
