Two mocked to death after being considered Ritualistic killers

Two men have been mocked to death while one under critical condition in Ganta, Nimba County.

The two men identified as Winston Gonsehn age 38 and Festus Gaye age 35 death came as a result of being accused by some Citizens of that part of the country for caring out ritualistic killings.

The incident occurred Wednesday morning at the LPRC Zone 2 community while the accused where onboard of a yellow Taxis with plate number LB-4895.

Ganta in recent time has witnessed the disappearance of children and the discovery of brunt remains.

Report also reviled that the victims met their death when captured by the resident after the vehicle broke down which caused the aggrieved citizens to surround the car and murdered to death 2 out of seven in the taxi.

Police at the region according to our correspondent managed to have escaped with five out of the seven who were on board.

The action by the aggrieved citizens were based on the continual increase of allege ritualistic killings in the County which they believe if not looked at will undermined they county’s moral image.

The city of Ganta has been described as violent city were over eight men have been mocked to death within less than three years and the properties of business people have been destroyed.

Due to the increase of said practices in the County, women from across Nimba County have staged 3 days fast and prayer at the Christian Bible Church [CBC] with the aimed for God to exposed the doers of those evil acts.

They have threatened not to take part in the up-coming senatorial election as they are calling on government through the Liberia National Police to combat the situation.
