“Using LNP as the Case-Study to Improving its Police Force”,Gambia Embarks


A Team of authorities of The Gambian National Police including its Inspector General, Mamour Jobe is paying a visit of acquiring knowledge from the Liberian National Police (LNP).

The knowledge to be acquired by Inspector General Mamour Jobe and team surrounds ideologies Liberia’s Police have used in past year in achieving gains that have port the country on a map of being one the World’s MOST PEACEFUL NATIONS among sixty countries.

This equates a plus to the Country’s security sector.

Inspector General Mamour Jobe and Team came Sunday June 14, 2019 at the Roberts International Airport(RIA) minuets prior to the arrival of some investors who are expected to invest in the mining and charity sectors in the country.

Speaking Monday at the welcoming ceremony at the Liberia National Police Headquarters, Inspector General Jobe highlighted the need for Liberia to be consider a “zoon” of acquiring knowledge on maintaining peace and stability.

The Gambia Police Head added that Liberia as a post war country to sustain peace for fifteen years and soon to sixteen speaks volume to have a vibrant democracy.

This, he said is a call to investment and developmental drives.

for his part, the Inspector General of the Liberia National Police Patrick Sudue called on police officers to be passingly driven in the discharge of their elective duties.

According to him, public service especially in the security sector is being monitored not only by neighboring countries but world wide observations.

IG Sudue at the same time expressed a commitment of sharing knowledge to his counterparts.
