Women of Hope Donates US$100 to Little Uriah

Women of Faith, a Liberian woman group in  coatesville, USA has donated $100 USD to the Grandmother of little Uriah Benjamin for his upkeep.

The group’s  intervention comes barely a week after KMTV’s Bong County Correspondent interviewed the caregiver of the baby.

Little Abraham’s mother who is believed to have complicated health issues, was taken advantage of by an unknown man which led to pregnancy.

When she gave birth, Doctors at the C.B Dumbar Hospital advised that the mother should not breastfeed the baby.

The Doctors’ mandate comes after she was diagnosed of elpasis.

Since then, the baby has been living on milk through the hard struggle of his poor grandmother.

The money which was provided by the group through a senior member, Benetta Ajavon, is intended to contribute to the feeding and medical bills of the baby.

“I watched the interview you did with the little baby and my group says I should send you $100.00 USD for him” she told our Correspondent via messenger call.

The group has meanwhile promised to send contribution for the baby every month.

Receiving the money, Ma-Lorpu thanked the group for the gesture, promising to use it for the purpose intended.

She said she will forever remain grateful to the donors for extending helping hand to the baby.

She called on them to continue as they all strive to give a conducive life to little Uriah.
